RIP Danny DeVito. Today I buried my little betta friend. He was a good friend. Always wagging his little tail when I would walk by. I’ll miss ya little guy.  I left some of his favorite things with him. He always loved that green plastic bush, so I put it underground with him. I hope you in your next life, you become a shark and roam free in the ocean. Or a butterfly. Or a wasp. No. A falcon. Maybe a panther. Love you Danny Devito.

I threw away my scale today. I now feel more in power. I used to step on that thin every morning. Hating myself. Looking in the mirror and hating myself. So I tossed it. That’s not who I am. That’s not who I want to be. Constantly worrying about my weight. That’s not how I want people to perceive me. I want to inspire people to be healthy. And how can I when behind closed doors I was constantly judging myself? I am now focusing on being healthy. I workout to maintain balance in my life. To keep my bones, heart, muscles, mind, and feelings strong. For clarity. Not to be rail thin. I am happy I threw that piece of trash out. Steamed mashed butternut squash on a bed of arugula and topped with fresh broccoli, green beans, cucumber, mushroom, carrots, and garnished with pumpkin seeds, lemon juice, black pepper, and sea salt. All the topped veggies were served raw. #healthy #vegan #vegetables #diet #healthylife #healthyliving #cleaneating #youarewhatyoueat make a choice. Be happy. Live long. Make a difference. Inspire. The moment I began eating healthy, watching what I put in my body, I’ve been feeli better, not getting I’ll every month. Be smart with what you put in your body. It’s the only one you’ve got. And for the people who say “life is short. Eat what you want”. I say, I don’t want a short life. I want a long, healthy, happy life. I do enjoy what I eat.
